Grafton Soccer Club 3v3 Tournament

First and foremost Thank You for your past support of the Grafton 3v3 Tournament. Those of you who participated in the past in this event and those of us who organize it have shared some fun times the last 15 years.

It is with regret, therefore, that the Grafton Board of Directors is announcing the decision to suspend the 3V3 Tournament until further notice.

This decision has been prompted mainly by the future uncertainty of field availability in Grafton. As you know a tournament of this size requires a fairly large space to host. You may have heard that Grafton is most likely going to have a new high school project breaking ground this year which while badly needed will unfortunately limit field availability during construction and in future years as the planned field space is much smaller than previously configured. No other field in Grafton, public or private is large enough to host the tournament as currently configured.

The BOD, therfore, decided to take this year to assess future fields availability and possibly restructuring of the tournament to a smaller event or a multi-phased event. Unfortunately, due to the amount of time required in advance to plan for an event of this magnitude we cannot complete this effort this year and therefore we have decided to opt for a suspension.

The Board wanted to make sure we communicated this decision ASAP as we understand that many of you plan ahead to participate in this event.

About the 3v3 Tournament

The GSC 3v3 Tournament is an annual event held every August. Over 100 youth and adult teams participate in this small-sided tournament emphasizing the FUN of soccer.
